What is a 12 car rally?

A 12 Car Rally is essentially a road rally (see elsewhere) that is restricted to a maximum of 12 crews. They tend to be used to provide navigation practice to those wishing to enter full road rallies, or to encourage novice competitors to join in with the sport.

Many clubs organise winter 12 car series, to encourage competition, and they are often very popular and over-subscribed. Event organisers always welcome offers to help marshal an event. This is a good way of getting involved in these events.
